  • Geological and mineralogical maps.
  • Remote sensing images.
  • Reports.
  • Fieldwork, photographs.
  • Geophysical Data (Airbone Magnetics, Radiometrics and EM.)

The Data Rooms are hosted by Perceptum, at 33 Cavendish Square, Landmark, London, UK. W1G OPW. For more information please visit: www.egronda.com and www.perceptumlimited.com

Geology and Mineralization

Rio Muni contains four geological terrains: the Ntem, Monts De Cristal (‘MDC’), the Noya Series and the coastal strip. Ntem and MDC are Archean terrains and form the northwest margin of the Congo Craton. The Noya series comprises Neoproterozoic metasediments and the youngest rocks are found in sediments from the Cretaceous coastal belt.

The Ntem and MDC terrains are typical green rocks with 1st order shear and are, therefore, prospective for mesothermal gold deposits similar to those elsewhere in the Congo Craton. Coarse-grained alluvial gold is produced by artisanal miners in many places and particularly in Coro, Aconibe and Mongomo. Alluvial gold is thick and angular and is produced in association with vein quartz and lateritic material indicating a proximal source.
